At the start 2014, I had decided that this year is going to be different. It is going to be a year when I will decide my long term goal and set a direction career wise. I have had a fair share of work in software industry and it is about time that I dig what I really, truly want to do. Engineering is something that happened to me naturally, I never really gave a second thought to it before starting my undergraduate school. However, I did lot of self assessment through last year or so, and came to the conclusion that I want to be involved in work that is outdoor, under the sun. Not that I want to completely turn away from software, in fact I care too deeply about it to just let go. But at the same time, I want to have a dedicated time spent with nature, observing the nature and preserving it in my own little way. So, when I moved back to India in March, I immediately enrolled myself for a year long course in Landscape Design.
The course officially started this month and since its first day I am thrilled by the subject and the tiniest part of it. Although I do not have any background and my drawing skills are just average, I am really trying to give my 100% to this course. I am enjoying my school bag, the morning rush to make it to the lecture on time, the zealous effort to complete assignments and most importantly the amazing site visits.
So, I decided to create a new section for landscape design on this website and write some of my notes. If any of you are interested to read upon this topic you are more than welcome to visit this section.
Let’s get started!
